Interviews:
-We have completed the interview with the artists. It was a great experience but now we are really stepping back and reviewing the footage to see if it is relevant. We are thinking that we will only use a small amount of the interview footage. However the artist’s performance work provided us with some great visuals and inspired some ideas for visuals.
-We are completing an interview with Michael from Sharehood this Friday. We think he will provide us with content that’s devoted to the metaphorical tearing down of fences.
-We are still in the midst of organising an interview with an international student.

film development
three interviews, three threads
- sharehood member (tearing down the metaphorical fences, getting to know your neighbours)
- wall work artists (similar exploration of fences through a more conceptual means)
- international student (tribal, community, personal look at fences, when fences are put up)
closing - fences projected on our faces, symbolic of our journey with fences
think about
- visually interesting, unique cutaways - relating to what our interviewees say
- music

We could create interesting visuals by using spit screen. Of course you would line it up a bit better than this example but it could be something fun to play around with.
Maybe someone feels split between two communities that can be represented by two very different fences and yet moves within both worlds?
